Space pauses and carries on. + and − add or take off a minute. R starts again, F is full screen, M turns sound off, Esc opens this menu.
The buttons in the corner hide after a few seconds. Move the mouse or touch the screen to bring them back.
The timer goes by the computer's clock, so it stays right on a slow laptop or if you switch to another tab. If the tab is hidden at zero, the sound still plays and the ending runs when you come back.
The tab's title shows the time left, so you can see it from another tab.
